There is an application on my desktop that is very useful. It is a small image of a desktop with a jagged line running through it. At first, I didn’t know what it was for, but now I know. It is used to force an application to quit. Why is this useful, you ask? Don’t the applications quit when you want them to? Well…. not always, sometimes they stick. Don’t know why, they just do. When this happens, I just point to this app. click, then to any place on the desktop, click,and it quits. Of course it will ask first if you want to force it to quit… just to be on the safe side.
