Jah Shaka writes “Jahshaka is an open source in-development effects, compositing and editing system that works in full uncompressed 4:4:4 colorspace. All video processing and i/o will use OpenML. OpenML’s high level of integration with OpenGL allows for real-time interactivity while supporting multiple platforms seamlessly. The animation module supports real-time playback with OpenGL. The paint module is an OpenGL-based 3D paint environment. The text module is a complete OpenGL-based character generator. The Jahshaka 1.9 Alpha 1 build focuses on core functionality and is available as both source code and binary. Feedback is requested.”
