Earlier this week Microsoft’s Nigerian representatives claimed that even if Africans were given open source software they wouldn’t know what to do with it. In an article published by ZDNet the company’s representatives said Africans lacked the “expertise” to use open source software. Such outrageous claims can not be allowed to go without a response.
