Asus-Made Nexus 10 Tablet Reportedly Coming Soon

The new version of Google’s largest tablet, the Nexus 10, will be made by Asus rather than Samsung, according to a report from Geek‘s Russell Holly. The writer, who also broke the news that stock Android editions of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and HTC One were coming to the Google Play store, cites “multiple sources” as confirming the switch. The report directly contradicts earlier rumors that Samsung was reprising its role as manufacturer of the tablet.

Asus is responsible for both the original Nexus 7 and the refreshed edition, so it’s clear the Taiwanese manufacturer has a good working relationship with Google. The refreshed Nexus 10 will reportedly be available “in time for the holiday season” through both Google Play store and Best…
