BakBone Software announces support for 64-Bit Linux on IBM eServer pSeries

BakBone Software, a global provider of data protection software, Tuesday announced that BakBone’s NetVault software is now supported across all IBM eServer pSeries systems running 64-bit Linux on IBM’s Power Architecture processors.

BakBone’s support for the IBM eServer pSeries platform helps ensure data protection solutions for enterprise applications running on Linux. As more users consolidate Linux and Open Source applications to meet the on-demand computing needs of today, NetVault allows customers to migrate to Linux without sacrificing their data protection strategies.
