Upgrade Advice
The prior edition of this book was written for version 2.6. Most of the changes to phpMyAdmin in version 2.8 are in the user interface and not the underlying functionality. This book brings the screen shots and user instructions into line with the new interface. If as a reader you are happy with the new interface already you don’t need to upgrade to this new edition of the book.
