CERT’s going to tell on vendors with security problems, no matter what

CERT said it will release security vulnerability information to the public so that users can take steps to protect themselves. The agency will still notify the software company first, but even if the flaws are fixed by the company, CERT plans to alert customer to problems. From Infoworld.com.
