The GNOME Project released the fifth maintenance release of the stable GNOME Software package manager application for the GNOME 3.16 desktop environment, a version that fixes seven issues.
According to the raw changelog, which we have attached at the end of the article for reference, GNOME Software 3.16.5 now displays the progress of the installation of new packages, and adds multiple improvements to featured app banners.
