In her keynote, (Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly) Fiorina also said open systems, not
proprietary ones, are necessary for the evolution of the
Internet.

legacy environment,’ she said. ‘Openness is key to

embrace open-industry, standards-based technologies.’ ”
