Indiana University [IU] and Technische Universität Dresden [TUD] have announced a friendship and cooperation between the two organizations in order to facilitate “greater levels of collaboration between scientists and medical researchers in Europe and the US.”  The impact will fall on joint high performance computing and informatics research.  The first project between the groups involves the development of new approaches to biological data set management and trans-Atlantic data transfer..
