Adoption of OSI-approved GPL v3 License Strengthens Open Source Community Participation In Leading Open Source Document Management Project
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA (October 24, 2007) – KnowledgeTree™, the leading provider of Open Source document management software for small to medium-sized organizations and departmental users, today announced the availability of KnowledgeTree Open Source Edition 3.5 licensed under the new GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3.

The GPL, published by the Free Software Foundation, is an Open Source Initiative (OSI)-approved license and one of the most widely utilized free and open source software (FOSS) licenses.
