A French company says its UPnP Server middleware stack has been approved by the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA). Although certified running on a standard PC, Awox’s “mediaCTRL” middleware supports eight system-on-chip architectures and a handful of free and commercially supported embedded Linux distributions.
