Nearly every day, we get more evidence that cloud computing is at the top of the 2014 priority list for IT departments at companies large and small, but what about government organizations? In the U.S. at least, there is fresh evidence that the cloud is also prioritized by federal CIOs. According to a TechAmerica survey of 60 federal CIOs and federal information technology professionals from 32 different agencies, almost 90 percent of federal chief information officers say their agency has migrated to cloud computing in some way. The survey also shows that these CIOs have extensive plans for the cloud, as well.
