Is Linux ready for the desktop? The debate goes on endlessly. I would not care to comment on that. What matters to me is that it works for me. Oh,
Linux has its problems. I suppose people for whom a computer is just a tool to get work done may get frustrated that with Linux, not everything works
out of the box (though an amazing amount of stuff does, today). People may not like it that one often has to learn oodles of stuff to make things
work, sometimes.
