New Release Model for MySQL

The MySQL developers have presented a new release model for the development of the open source database. The aim of the changes is to create a more dynamic, accessible, open and understandable development model. This also means that the current development plan has been rejected and the planned features for MySQL 6.0 are not now top priority.
