The world market for software and related services has been long dominated by the US and companies have spoken of Europe as a de-risking destination. But the fastest growth in the next few years will come from emerging markets, the group of countries that IDC calls BRIC+9 (Brazil, Russia, India, China followed by Mexico, Poland, Turkey, Argentina, Columbia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, UAE, and Vietnam).
