Last week, the OpenDocument Format (ODF) had two major successes. First and foremost, it was approved by ISO to become an international standard, which means that it beat Microsoft’s OpenXML in the race to standardization. With the ODF Plugin, Office users can save their documents in the ODF format from the File menu just like any other doc type.
