openSUSE’s Community Week is only a few days away!
We’re gearing up for a great week Рwe’ve got tons of exceptional sessions lined up, and we’re fired up to help new contributors get started with openSUSE.
Ever wanted to learn how to package? You can get real-time instruction during Community Week and learn all you ever wanted to know (and possibly more) about packaging. We’ll also have tutorials for the openSUSE Build Service.
The openSUSE Board will be meeting and greeting with openSUSE Contributors on Wednesday and Saturday, to answer questions about project governance and to hear suggestions on how to improve the project.
If you’re interested in working on translations, we’ll have sessions on getting involved with the translation team too!
The marketing team will be meeting during Community Week to work on the 11.2 launch plan, and the wiki team will be meeting to help clean up the wiki.
There’s a lot to be done, a lot to be learned, and much fun to be had! Check the schedule on the openSUSE wiki and follow along on openSUSE News each day for updates and reports on Community Week.
