Proprietary Unices are morphing into a future super-Linux

Linux Today article surmises, “the high-end OS of the future will be a version of Linux that has incorporated all the best code from
SGI’s Irix, IBM’s AIX, Caldera’s (formerly SCO’s) UnixWare, and
probably somewhere down the road from Sun’s Solaris.”
