Storage networking specialist QLogic has become the first HBA vendor to ship N_Port ID Virtualisation (NPIV) solutions for enterprise Linux.
The company says that those with Enterprise Linux deployed can now get NPIV-capable Fibre Channel HBAs for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
