SCO’s stock rose 44 percent on Wednesday, to 72 cents, after it filed an appeal that challenged Novell’s recent win. The drama continues, however, as the question of whether the $25 million in licensing fees collected by SCO must be turned over to Novell still remains. That is a problem for SCO, as they only have $19.8 million in assets as of their last quarterly filing.
