Two years ago, Gee helped start the Red Hot Hatters, a Bellevue-based chapter of the national Red Hat Society.
That’s an organization of women who get together just for fun wearing red hats and purple outfits.
“I’m the vice queen, unless I’m not feeling nice. Then I’m the queen of vice,” Gee said.
The group, which includes members from Bellevue, Redmond and several other communities, now numbers 20.
