The openSUSE project has announced some upcoming changes to how its development distribution is managed in what appears to be an attempt to make it more flexible and open to outsiders. “Currently, we have some policies around the distribution that date back to the time when there was no openSUSE. Code contributions are only possible if you go through a Novell developer.
