The Ubuntu maintainers for Firefox have finally released the latest 39.x branch of the Internet browser for users of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is still supported by Canonical until 2017, so it would have been weird for the users of this distro to be stuck with an older version of the application.
