Use News Industry Text Format (NITF) with PHP

NITF is an open, public standard defined and supported by the International Press Telecommunications Council, and is widely used by some of the world’s largest news agencies. This article shows you examples of how the XML_NITF package provides an API to extract various elements of a news article from an NITF-formatted file, and then shows you how to use this information in a PHP application.
