If tech industry analysts and observers are right, executives of Utah’s embattled SCO Group could learn a lot from Lt. Frank Drebin.
In one memorable scene from the slapstick classic “The Naked Gun,” actor Leslie Nielsen portrayed the blustering, clueless detective shooing away a crowd watching the pyrotechnic chaos after a runaway tank plowed into a Chinese fireworks factory.
“All right,” Drebin shouts. “Nothing to see here. Please disperse! Nothing, nothing to see here!”
Since filing its headline-grabbing, $5 billion federal lawsuit against IBM nearly two years ago, the tiny Lindon software company seemingly has staggered from one crisis to another, all the while insisting its future was assured.
