Version 1.2 of the Yocto embedded distribution builder is available. New features include a new version of the HDB tool (used to customize and build embedded Linux images), a 3.2.11 kernel, better license compliance tools, and this interesting addition: “Implementation of the MSG (Magic Smoke Generator) which enables the on board generation of ‘magic smoke’ to enhance the longevity of embedded device components.“
