Main Menu…

A very useful application is one that is called Main Menu. It is in the System/Preferences section. Quite simply it lets you choose which applications you’d like to be shown on the main menu of your desktop. You have a choice of just hiding it or deleting it all together. You can also revert your choice if you change your mind.  I know that the new distributions come equiped with all kinds of neat applications. But if you don’t need/use them, why keep them? They just clutter up your desktop and take up disk space. Keep the ones you use. One more way to make your  Linux desktop cleaner and more organized . A good way to start the new year is by organizing our OS, desktop, etc. Also a good way to make your desktop, TRUELY YOURS.
